BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – The first year of Battle Creek’s neighborhood mow and maintenance program is being called a huge success.
This year’s participants mowed 200 lots in the city of Battle Creek.
All of those lots are vacant properties owned by the Land Bank.
Local groups were able to help out while earning funds for their different organizations.
The program is expected to resume in 2016.
