2024’s Black History Month theme is “Celebrating African Americans and the Arts”. Battle Creek has incredible local artwork like the Black Lives Matter mural at 80 Riverside Drive, which is a compilation of murals done by several different artists, and the Sojourner Truth mural on Capital Ave NE, done by the artist Sintex. Today we celebrate these amazing murals brought to our community by Color the Creek!
